Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
If you're looking to tidy up mess fast and efficiently, a robot vacuum and mop is the way to go. The best robot vacs and mops I've tested are top-quality in navigation and mapping as well as the ability to remove Cheerios, tangled wires and fake dog turds without leaving them behind.
You can also schedule cleaning chores using an app and track their progress.
1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV is the most efficient robot mop and vacuum combination. It has the latest features. This high-end model is incredibly fast and nimble, picking up debris like human hair and pet hair with a near perfect accuracy in our Debris Pickup Test. It features a sleek and elegant app interface with an interactive map of your home and buttons on the screen for manual control.
Another notable feature is the S8's ability to adjust its cleaning mode according to dirt levels, thanks to its Dirt Detection Technology. It will pause and clean its mopping pad more often when it encounters dust while prioritizing carpeted areas for mopping with a damp pad.
The mop roller comes with many other smart features, such as docks that connects to the plumbing system in your home to wash and clean it without having to refill the mop. With the built-in voice assistant on the S8 you can make use of voice commands to control room cleaning modes and granular control using only your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
If you're looking for a hands-free robot vacuum that can mop The Yeedi Cube is one of the more versatile options. It's one of a variety of combo robot vacuums that also include mops however it's priced at a lower price than most of the competition.
Like most robot vacuums, the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get it up and running. This involves setting up an account with the app and connecting the device to your WiFi network. Once you've completed that, the robot will begin to vacuum and mop effortlessly.
It's important to keep in mind that the mapping process may take some time, and the Yeedi Cube may need a few attempts before it has a good picture of your living space. The object detection is also not perfect. It was able skirt around furniture and other obstacles, but it was stuck on a rug with tassels and needed to turn to release itself. These aren't major issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great option for those looking for an appliance that can do all of the above.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete offers a three-in-1 home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping features the ability to rotate in a manner similar to hand scrubbing which results in floors that are genuinely cleaned and not just cleaned. The vacuum stick that can be detached is a game changer that can reach areas where robot vacuums can't.
This model is basically the same as the popular X2 Omni, but with an increased suction power of 8700Pa, and a few additional clever features. The upgraded RGBD sensor can learn your home's layout better and provide dynamic obstacle avoidance. The smart app lets you customize the settings of your choice such as scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the mop and vacuum robot return to their charging base at the end of each task to clean their pads, empty the dust bins and place debris in bags that self-seal. This helps keep the system clean, and also stops allergens from circulating. Its battery life is sufficient to clean large areas without requiring a charge mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
The Eufy S1 Pro is a top-quality robot vacuum and mop model that has impressive features for a reasonable price. It comes with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power, a rotating brush for hard floors and carpets and an excellent obstacle avoidance. It also boasts an innovative mopping system that uses a roller that is continuously doused with water to pull dirt and place it in the water that is dirty tank.
Its navigation technology was effective in navigating close to walls without crashing, and staying clear of stairs. It had trouble with fine particles and didn't always clear the raised thresholds in rooms. Its operating noise is also high, and it could be less of a set-and-forget model than some.
The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, has a docking technology that allows it to replenish its clean water tank, empty the dust bin as well as wash and dry the mop, as well as empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance easier and allows the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors in accordance with the regular schedule. Eufy's app allows you to control all its functions. It provides an easy overview and a variety of options for configuration.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is one of the most premium robot vacuums/mowers available, and offers impressive mixed vacuuming and mopping performance. Its LIDAR mapping sensor can recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with decent accuracy, and the app allows users to fine-tune coverage of the map, define no-go zones, and customize cleaning preferences. The Freo's roller brush was designed to prevent hair from wrapping around it. This can be a major problem with many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode is impressive too, with Reuleaux triangular mops that spin at 180 RPM and exert up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system incorporates smart carpet detectors, which lift the pads up when they're near soft surfaces in order to keep them from getting contaminated.
The docking station is designed to function as a hands-free center for maintenance, automatically washing and drying the mops, and refilling them with water and detergent. The base station also comes with integrated dust processing that compacts dust over 7 weeks of uninterrupted operation, unlike conventional robot vacuums that empty their bins of dust every time they are empty.
6. S10
This robot is only a few hundred dollars more expensive than the S8 and does an excellent job of keeping my office clean. It can also reach the corners of my tiny apartment. It uses a laser mapping camera and laser to create a 3D model of your home so that it knows what to avoid. It has an object/obstacle detector that can block things like toys and dog bowls (but not poop) unlike most vacuums.

Other great features include a self emptying dustbin, a mop that is self-washing, adjustable for water temperature and a side-reaching brush that can reach areas that other mops miss. You can also adjust the settings for each room and set up cleaning schedules.
It comes with the same multi-room smart mapping feature as the S8 and is able to distinguish between carpets and laminate with high-pile rug. It also lets you skip mopping rooms that are not clean if you want to reduce time. If you have a variety of flooring in your home and don't want to spend more money on a Roborock that comes with advanced mapping features this is an excellent option.
7. Q5 Pro
If you're looking for a versatile robot vacuum and mop that can handle both regular daily maintenance as well as touch-ups to messy messes that are wet, this robot is an excellent choice. It has a wide range of features including the ability to empty the dustbin on its own, a separate water refill dock, as well as adjustable settings within the app. It's surprisingly quiet and can easily maneuver around furniture legs or socks. It's not able to take care of knotted rug tassels and it's battery drains slightly more quickly than other models in our tests.
With a price tag of less than $250 it's the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly powerhouse that packs serious suction and handy automation into a sleek design. It didn't perform as well in our mopping and mopping tests like the expensive Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra, but it still performed very well overall. It comes with a variety of cleaning modes, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet mode which is suitable for small debris to the incredibly powerful "Turbo mode" for carpeted areas. It even has the ability to automatically remove and reattach its mop pads without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is a great two-in-one robot vacuum and mop for people who live in cramped spaces. It's very quiet and fast and does a great job of maneuvering around tight spaces. It's also extremely effective in removing pet hair from carpets.
budget robot vacuum than its rivals however, it doesn't compromise any features. It has a decent suction capacity and can be configured to take pictures of every object it chooses (i.e. chew toys socks, chew toys), and mark them in the app as 'not found' to ensure that they will not be taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are secure, and not tied to you account.
It's great at vacuuming, but not as great in mopping. It uses disposable wet wipes that you clip to the bottom of the bot and then it drags them around the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal which have water reservoirs, and automatically wash and attach their mopheads.
